1. Overview

This Privacy Policy applies to SparscrubCM, a professional local storage cleaning and junk file optimization application developed by SparscrubCM Studio. The App is designed to scan residual cache, junk files, duplicate media, large files and unused documents to free up device storage space.

By installing and using SparscrubCM, you agree to this Privacy Policy. This policy fully complies with Google Play Developer Policies, Android storage permission rules, GDPR, CCPA and COPPA standards.

2. Permission Statement & Justification

2.1 Why we need full file access

Standard Android media permissions cannot access hidden app cache directories, residual uninstall files, deep junk folders and duplicate files across the whole device. MANAGE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE is mandatory to implement core cleaning functions, which is the only purpose for this permission.

2.2 Strict local-only processing

• All file scanning, analyzing and cleaning processes run 100% locally on your device.
• The App only reads file metadata (file name, size, path, format) for junk identification and duplicate matching.
• We never read, upload or store user private photos, videos, documents or personal content.
• All file deletion actions require manual user confirmation.

3. Data We Collect

SparscrubCM collects no personal identifiable information. Only fully anonymous technical data is collected for stability optimization:

• Anonymous device model, OS version and app version
• De-identified crash logs for bug fixing
• Anonymous GAID for non-personalized ads
• Aggregated untraceable usage statistics

We never collect phone number, name, location, gallery content, financial data, contacts or private messages.

4. How We Use Data

• Fix scanning crashes and compatibility issues on different devices
• Optimize junk scan speed and cleaning experience
• Provide free non-personalized ads to support app maintenance

We will never sell or trade user anonymous data for commercial purposes.

5. Third-Party SDK

This App only integrates official Google secure SDKs:

• Firebase Crashlytics: Anonymous crash log collection for stability improvement.
• Google AdMob: Non-personalized advertisements without user tracking or profiling.

6. Data Security & Retention

All network transmissions use TLS encryption. Anonymous logs are stored on Google encrypted servers and automatically deleted within 12 months. All local scan cache is cleared after closing the app or uninstallation.

7. User Privacy Rights

• You may revoke storage permission anytime in system settings.
• You can disable ad tracking and crash reporting in Android privacy settings.
• Uninstalling the app removes all local app data completely.

The app complies with CCPA, GDPR and COPPA user protection rules. We do not serve users under 13 years old.
